Assault course instructor Christina Harris is to complete a 5km charity race by walking – along a length of rope. She will complete the distance with charity runners taking part in the Race for Life for Cancer Research.
Christina, an instructor at Aerial Extreme in Trentham Gardens, will use a rope measuring just one metre to make her way around the course.
She will have to set down her rope, balance her way to the end of it and lay it down again in front of her for the whole race.
The race follows a course around the Trentham Estate, with more than 6,000 women expected to take part in the event on June 10.
Site manager at Aerial Extreme, Alex Dick, said: "Cancer Research UK is a fantastic charity that helps saves lives, and the Race for Life provides a great way of supporting it.
“We are all very proud of Christina for putting herself forward to take part.”
