Knowsleys 1st Birthday

Knowsley’s Aerial Extreme adventure ropes course is celebrating its 1st birthday on Sunday 27th July with a free BBQ!

Anyone that is booked on the course that day will get an extra treat of complimentary food as part of the manager’s way of saying ‘thanks’ to everyone for their support over the last 12 months.

Since opening, the course, next to Knowsley Safari Park, has welcomed over 20,000 visitors. Out of that number, approximately 57% have been male and 43% female. The youngest person on the course celebrated her 6th birthday on the day and the oldest ‘Extremist’ was 87 years old. The person with the highest number of visits has been to their course 23 times and comes from St Helens and the strangest object that staff have found at the top of the 40ft poles was a ladies silver bracelet.

Site manager, Becky Allen said: "The course is extremely popular with everyone no matter what their age is or ability. The best part is that you can chose which level you take on and once you build your confidence, you can progress to the very top.

“Over the past year we have had a great response from people and this Sunday is our way of saying thanks to them for their support and here’s to another 12 months of Aerial Extreme.”

Aerial Extreme’s summer BBQ will start from 12pm until 3pm. Anyone wanting to take advantage of their complimentary food offer must book in advance by calling 0845 6521736 or booking on this website.
